Jamia Darul Uloom Islamia established Department of computer science in 2002 to make the students aware of latest technology. For this purpose a well equipped computer laboratory has been established. The basic computer courses are conducted for students and teachers.

The primary purpose of this department is to prepare students so that they may perform their role in society effectively. Therefore, students of Jamia Darul Uloom Islamia are offered the basic computer courses. Thus Jamia has succeeded to produce a number of students who are real proud of Jamia.

 Jamia has modernized the computer lab with new beautiful tables, high speed computers, internet, local networking and multimedia projector. Computerand multimedia projector is being used for teaching purposes.

 Following computer courses are offered:

(i) Basic Computer operating course             (ii) composing (Urdu, Arabic and English)

(iii) Uses of Internet                                        (iv) Complete system installation

(v) Uses of Islamic software’s                         (vi) Uses of MS Office

94 students have done Matriculation with computer science and 270 students have completed computer operating course.
